Terms of Sale

1. Scope and parties

These Terms of Sale apply to purchases of ACENTAUR made through einaux.com. EINAUX is the business name of Christoph Kahse, sole proprietor, Königsberger Straße 17, 85276 Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, Germany. Product and licence support is available at support@einaux.com.

Payments offered as “Sold through Link” are processed through Stripe Managed Payments. Sold through Link, LLC acts as merchant of record for the payment transaction, indirect-tax handling and transaction support. Link order support available from the payment receipt and Link order history. EINAUX remains responsible for ACENTAUR, delivery, product support and the software licence.

Mandatory consumer rights in the customer’s country of habitual residence remain unaffected. These Terms do not create a subscription.

2. Product and licence

ACENTAUR is a downloadable macOS Audio Unit for creating and working with generated audio inside a music-production workflow. A paid order grants one perpetual personal end-user licence, subject to the EULA. The licence does not expire merely because ACENTAUR is no longer sold or a newer paid product is introduced.

The introductory price is displayed before checkout. The checkout page shows the final total and any tax handled by the merchant of record. The customer is not charged until the final Stripe-hosted payment step is completed.

3. Compatibility, functionality and requirements

  • Platform and format: Apple Silicon Mac, native 64-bit AUv2, macOS only.
  • Validated operating system: macOS 15 or later.
  • Validated release host: Logic Pro 12.3 or later. Logic Pro provides the full validated workflow. Other AU hosts may expose a reduced feature set and are not promised unless expressly listed as supported.
  • Memory: 16 GB unified memory minimum; 24 GB or more recommended for ACE 2B; ACE XL requires 32 GB and 48 GB or more is recommended.
  • Free storage including temporary download and installation space: 8.5GB minimum and 125GB for full installation.

Model weights are not included in the ACENTAUR purchase. At the customer’s request, Setup downloads selected third-party model weights from Hugging Face, including EINAUX MLX conversions. The underlying models are licensed separately under the upstream terms stated in the EULA and supplied with each model package; EINAUX does not license the underlying models.

Internet access is required for checkout, account sign-in, the EINAUX installer, user-initiated third-party model downloads, initial activation and occasional entitlement validation. The current product page, FAQ and setup documentation form part of the pre-contract product information to the extent they describe the ACENTAUR release build actually supplied.

4. Order formation and immediate delivery

The product presentation is an invitation to place an order. The binding payment order is placed on the Stripe-hosted checkout page. A contract is concluded when the merchant of record accepts the payment order and confirms the transaction.

Before checkout begins, the customer must actively accept the Terms and EULA and expressly consent to immediate digital delivery while acknowledging the resulting loss of the withdrawal right when delivery begins. The checkbox is not preselected.

After verified payment, EINAUX creates or assigns the passwordless customer account, records the perpetual licence and makes the protected installer available. This is the agreed beginning of digital delivery. The purchase confirmation sent by EINAUX contains the exact accepted Terms, EULA and withdrawal information, their version identifiers and the delivery-start time. Stripe or Link separately provides the payment receipt or invoice.

5. Account and delivery

The purchase email is the account identifier. Sign-in uses a single-use email code; customers do not create an EINAUX password. The customer is responsible for maintaining access to the purchase email and for promptly reporting unauthorized access.

The installer is available only through an authenticated account backed by an eligible paid licence. A full refund, lost chargeback or legally justified licence revocation removes new installer and activation access but does not remotely delete DAW projects, recordings or audio already stored on the customer’s Mac.

6. Trial

Where offered, the full-function Trial is bound to the eligible Mac on which it is started and may be used for the trial period shown before it begins. It is intended to test compatibility and suitability before purchase. Starting a Trial requires acceptance of these Terms and the EULA. Creating additional email addresses does not create additional trial rights.

7. Updates and digital-product rights

EINAUX will provide the updates required by applicable digital-product law for the legally required period. No promise is made that every future feature, model integration, operating-system generation, DAW version or major product generation will be supplied without charge. Ordinary bug fixes do not convert the perpetual licence into a subscription.

If ACENTAUR is not supplied or does not conform to the contract, mandatory rights to cure, price reduction, termination and damages apply according to law. Reasonable cooperation may be required to diagnose the issue. These rights are separate from the withdrawal right and cannot be excluded by this document.

8. Support

Product support is provided by email and through the support form in English and German. EINAUX aims to answer within two business days but does not guarantee a fixed response time. Payment, tax-receipt and transaction support is handled through the merchant-of-record channel identified on the receipt.

9. Withdrawal and refunds

The Withdrawal and Refund Information explains the 14-day withdrawal right, immediate delivery and its possible expiry. Consumers can also use the public electronic withdrawal function without signing in.

EINAUX does not offer a separate general money-back guarantee after delivery. This does not restrict statutory defect, non-delivery or withdrawal rights, or the correction of duplicate and invalid charges.

10. Liability

EINAUX has unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, fraudulently concealed defects and liability that cannot be limited by law. For slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Customers remain responsible for backups of projects and locally stored audio. This does not reduce EINAUX’s responsibility for damage caused by a defect for which EINAUX is legally liable.

11. Governing law and changes

German law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. A consumer retains mandatory protection under the law of their country of habitual residence. Jurisdiction is determined by applicable law.

The version accepted at checkout remains associated with the order. Later website edits do not retrospectively replace that version. If an individual clause is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
